Finished The Kitchen Island

Just wanted to add an update to the last blog. I finished the kitchen island hubby made. Here is a photo of it. In the background you can see my next project. I am painting my kitchen cabinets black and then I will add burgundy to them, distress it so you can see the black through top coat of burgundy.

  1. You did a great job on this! I like the way you worked the scallops to hold all your rolling pins! Hope to see more of your photos in the future! Spring smiles going your way!

  5. Oops! See that your husband made! Is it possible to commmission from him? I have the distressed black cabinets and a few mustard ones. I love your island.,especially with the rolling pins. My kitchen is quite primitive in decoration. I collect rolling pins so that section would be perfect!. My direct email is fineartchildren@gmail.com
    Thanks so much!!
