Flowers For Connie

As I sat on my porch swing late this morning, I felt as if I had been blessed. My sister-in-law and family left early this morning after spending a week with her brother and me in Indiana. She was so happy when she arrived to find out that their time spent here with us, would be filled with warm spring weather. My husband told her he had ordered it just for her, for he knew she was still surrounded with cold weather in upper NY. It seemed that every breeze was filled with the scent of different flowers, the grass was green and butterflies were fluttering everywhere. She was very sad to say goodbye to her brother and me this morning, but we also saw the longing look she took at all the flowers before she got into the car. She had a taste of Spring and it was still in the 40's in upper NY and at least a month before she would see this again.  So I am posting these spring flowers for her, to help her make it to her Spring. Then, when she catches the scent of flowers on a breeze while she sits on her own front porch swing, she will think of us.
Love Ya Connie
